And last night was a go big night... that happens like... well this was the 2nd time ever, first with Lilly, actually.
Auntie Lissa came and spent the night with the girls. The day could not go fast enough, they were dying to see her! Much screaming and bumping into each other ensued when she arrived. They didn't really care when we got home, but they sure were upset when she left this afternoon. Thank you Lissa.
And then Cori and I left and drove to a nice hotel (which gave us a free room, thank you United Reward Points), ate WAY to much Greek food... (thank you Restaurant.com) and watched Despicable Me, (thank you to all involved in making that very funny flick).
It was relaxing and lovely and we slept in until 8:30 this morning and didn't have to make anyone breakfast or change diapers... until we got home... apparently Lilly had been saving up the nasty stuff for us all day. Thank you Lilly... I guess.
We also bought a new mattress for 50% off... because our mattress is like being stabbed repeatedly with spoons all night. Not exactly what you would call "restful". (thank you Sears and Serta)
Oh and while waiting in the drive through line for our Texano ( Thank you Los Betos for your perfect blend of chicken potatoes cheese and sour cream in gigantic burrito) we found this guy....
Have you ever seen a brown preying mantis before?
Cori found it... he is good at finding things :)
I like my husband.
We don't spend a lot of money going on dates.
Most of our dates are at home on our couch, but I love them.
I love to just be with him, at home or out.
I like to just sit and talk with him.
The pleasure I take in his company is a constant reminder to me that I chose very very well.
Thank you for a lovely life, Cori.
