Quesadivas

Cheese and Tortilla sounded like the perfect combination for feeding the 'happy' crowd today...
Here is my communication with the girls just before they were served:

I (Kari) am in front of the stove preparing lunch with two year old Lilly at my feet crying. Girls (Tasha and Havah) are in the living room coloring and fighting.

"Girls, if you can't use nice words, please stop talking to each other."
"Mom Mom MOM!I wanna holge you! PEEES! Holge!"Accompanied by vigorous swatting of my legs.
"Lil', I can't hold you right now. I am cooking, it's hot hot." She persists...
Enter sobbing Havah, "Mom, Tasha says her pencil isn't my pencil!" sob sob sob.
"Havah, are you hungry and tired?"
Sob sob sob..."Yeah... I need to snuggle you for lunch." sob sob sob.
"Havah, I cannot snuggle you for lunch. Your body needs some food. I am cooking it right now."
Enter Tasha, "Havah, you need to stop crying, or your mom is going to put you in trouble and-" Havah screams shrilly at Tasha and exits kitchen right.
I sigh deeply, "Miss Tasha, I am the mom, that is my job. What is your job?"
"To take care of Tasha."
"So do you need to worry about Havah right now?"
"No. Hey Kari what are we having for lunch?"
"Quesadillas."
Tasha runs from the kitchen and calls out:
"HEY HAVAH! WE'RE HAVING QUESA-DIVAS FOR LUNCH TODAY!"

I couldn't have said it better myself Tash.
