I am no fun and so they have not even heard the word 'bunny' associated with Easter. Yesterday we went grocery shopping and they got to help me pick out our Easter candy. Last month they picked out baskets at Michael's. And this morning like magic their candy was in the baskets with some other goodies. I think next year we'll make the baskets come after resting time... then they'll have some real food in their tummies before we hit the sweet stuff.
Most of the rest of our day will be spent watching General Conference. For those unfamiliar, twice a year (April and October) we sit infront of our computers/TV's for church and listen to messages, we call them 'talks', from the President of the church and other church leaders.
Last year I think Elder Bednar, Elder Uchtdorf and Elder Holland were my favorites.
I am excited this year to hear what they, and others have to say this weekend. I always go away from Conference with a desire to be more Christlike, full of ideas of how to become a better wife, mother, friend and daughter of God.
I hope you have a lovely Easter with family and fun and some quiet moments to remember the love of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Happy Easter.
