We have started money jobs at our house.
First we have to finish our big list, and when that is done, the girls can do a money job. There are a couple rules about money jobs- First, it has to be something I could live without having done... (e.g. We could live with out washing windows for 30 years.. it would be nasty, but we could) Second it has to be done by Friday night, or they do it for free on Saturday.
After they earn their money and pay their tithing (10%) save (30%) they have 90 cents to do whatever they want with (yeah, it's not a lot, but it's enough for a cheap candy, or to save for two weeks and get a dollar store toy) OR they can do something awesome! For the last few weeks they have been putting every penny to savings. It was Lilly's idea. She was at the bike store with Cori and saw these:
handle bar streamers. Oh she had to have them...
So she saved and saved and saved (Havah did too)
And today they did it! They went to the store, plunked down $9.49 (each) and brought home their sparkly prize!

I am so proud of them!
They work hard to earn their money.
(last week Havah washed all the walls in the kitchen and Lilly did all the cabinets)
I'm glad their purchase was so satisfying!
