Alive... no baby

It is a beautiful day. The sun is coming up, the sky is blue and the clouds are golden white....
And I am still pregnant.

Maybe I'll go back to bed. (just kidding).

No, in all seriousness it's been a lovely Christmas.
We had our first Christmas at home with out visitors (Melissa spent the night with the fam on Christmas Eve). We love to have people, but it was nice to just be us.
We read the Christmas Story, had Hot Chocolate with candy canes and opened a present.
I was worried about Gideon getting here and not having anything ready for Christmas (HA), so basically every thing was wrapped. I think it took us a hour to get everything ready after the girls went to bed.

Christmas morning was quiet and lovely. The girls didn't really care about any of the big gifts they got, all the favorites have been freebies (I got a bunch of little filler toys from the ward swap meet a few days before Christmas). Oh, but Havah did get her coveted Parcheesi game.
Still, for the last 2 days they've only played with the free stuff though.
GO Swap Meet! I guess.

Cori's work had been pretty crazy this month. The night before last he spent the night in his office, I brought him a pillow and blanket and he took a nap on our massage table. Hopefully they'll have a guy hired to help him in the next few weeks, because January is shaping up to be about the same. We are very blessed, but Cori's job is an area of our life that I feel particularly blessed in.

Our Aunt Andrea came to visit us for a few days. We picked her up on Christmas afternoon and she flew home to Uncle Tortillas (Matthias) on Tuesday. The girls were pretty bummed when they woke up from their nap and she was gone. I was pretty bummed that Little Mister didn't show up while she was here. It was nice to visit and play though. Thanks for coming An!

Now we're just waiting...
Gid has to come eventually right?

*sorry no pictures, my camera is in the car with all the other 'going to have a baby' stuff... and I'm to tired to go and get it. We'll post Christmas pics when Gid gets here I guess.
