Maybe some lunch?

Conversation with while making dinner:
2 year old walks into the kitchen, leans up against the wall, crosses her legs at the knee and says "Maybe some lunch Mama?"

"How about some dinner? We already had lunch."
"Otay." Tapping her index finger against the side of her mouth she adds speculatively,"an' ice cheam?"

"Oh, I don't have any ice cream... we'll have to get some at the store next time. How about some cake and milk?"

"Otay Mama, I dit my Peito help my mama make cake!" (I'll get Pepito (from the Madeline cartoons) to help you make the cake!)
She turns around and in that deliciously funny way only at 2 year old can run returns to her movie.

I really like her.
