Father and what's camp out?

Tonight is the Father and Son's camp out.
Once a year, all the boys and their fathers in the ward, pack up and go camping in a thunder storm. (just being honest).

This is Cori's second year organizing the Father and Son's Camp Out.
Are you saying to yourself, "But you don't have any sons."
We know. It's just part of his calling (job) in our ward.

So tonight the girls and I are hanging out at home, eating pizza and playing with friends who's dad and brother are also out "enjoying the weather".

The point is to brag on my sweet husband, because he has a lot of other things he could be doing this weekend. He has a lot of other things that he needs to get done, but he had a responsibility- and so he is sleeping 2 hours from home on a foam pad with Sadie.

I like him.

A lot.

  1. He needed his daddy to go with him... wish we were closer... and I would have joined your pizza party!

  2. He and John have a few things in common-EQ Pres, no sons to go on the campout with them.

Sadie's a good "son" to take. I'd love a dog like Sadie to take camping with me, especially if I were going alone! I'm sure she's cuddly ;)
