Gluten Free for people who aren't: Sausage and potatoes

You will need:
1 large kielbasa cut into half rounds
5 medium potatoes cubed
1/2 a large sweet onion cut to a size of your liking
optional- fresh parsley or spinach chopped.

start your potatoes steaming. (this should take 10-15 minutes, you want them to be firm)
Fire up your favorite frying pan.
Dump in the sausage, allow to brown, stir regularly to keep it from burning.
when that is browned, add your onion, and a little pepper.
Cook until onions are translucent. (careful not to burn them)
Deglaze pan with a 1/4 cup water, stir and cover with lid for a couple of minutes.
Add potatoes and parsley.
Liquid should be entirely gone.
Taste it... add salt and pepper as you like.
Serve on it's own or with bbq sauce/katsup/mustard... whatever you like.
I think it stands alone nicely.
Serve some fresh veggies and fruit on the side.

And if you'd like make a little vanilla lemonade.
be warned... it looks like urine, but the taste makes up for it.

Serves 3-4 Adults.

1 C lemon juice
1/2 C white sugar
5 C cold water
1 tsp vanilla extract.
double, triple or quadruple recipe as needed...

things your father lets you do that make your mother worried she will excrete multiple bodily fluids at once...

When Havah was born Cori was SOOO uptight.
When she was old enough and I would toss her up in the air, he would freak out a little.
He never did that...
But we're on number three, who happens to be a boy and things are different now.
Right here... Mom's cool, taking cute pictures of the boy climbing.
so cute.

"CHEESE!"

but here... here is where I begin to have to think about my breathing.
This shot is so close because I am holding my arm out under him, just in case...

AHHH!!! He is going to fall and DIE!
(remember he's not even 2 yet okay...)
whew... he made it...
Going the the park with the girls was never this stressful...

Sinkie Squinkie

Do you see that? That nasty pink thing hanging out of my bathroom sink?
This is an official forbidding- NO SQUINKIES (or Squinkie sized things) in my house!!
Yuck, and double Nasty!

On the plus side, my sinks drain fabulously now.
