What I thought about the Lion,Witch & Wardrobe- By Lilly

What was your favorite part of the book?
They got to queen and king.
Was there part of the book when you were worried?
Peter was going to die.
Was there part of the book when you got excited.
It was the killing part, that Aslan got alive.
Was there part of the book that you didn't like?
They carved his red mane, they cut it off.
Who was your favorite character in the book? Why?
Lucy. Because she told her brothers and sister about the wardrobe. And then Peter knowed the wardrobe.

The Cows and The Dogs talk...

We went for a walk this afternoon, it was beautiful... and while we were out we met Butch, the black and white  great dane stud who lives around the block. As we walked away, Lilly turned and looked back, then looked up at me and said, "Mom, I saw his udder."

I guess he's almost as big as a cow... he's black and white...

this is not Butch, this is 'Odin' but you get the idea

anyway, we had a little talk about boys and girls 'buns'....

BIG LISTS

I am a list writer...
I am not a list doer...
That is just the truth.

I write my list, and then I put it somewhere and don't have to look at it anymore.
The problem with this method, is that I write important things on my lists...
Things that do need to to be done.

I think I have found a solution... It seems to be working, but a month in who can really say right?

Meet the BIG LIST board. 

The girls and I write it in the morning at breakfast.

We write what needs to be done and we write things we could do after we do everything that needs to be done.

It is working... for now... I guess I just needed a list as big as my table so I can't ignore it...

(Maybe it is also working because instead of having a LONG list, this one is short and HUGE. So even though it has very little on it, it feels like a big accomplishment)
