The Willfor Problem

This is Willfor and Willfor.

No I did not post the wrong picture, Willfor and Willfor are invisible.
And they have been a never ending source of contention in our home this morning.
Girls stealing each others Willfors... hitting each others Willfors... hiding them...
Do you see where I am in a bind?
How does one deal with contention surrounding invisible things?

Now I need to go help my two year old make a chicken out of a pipe cleaner...
good luck to me.
She says my best is good enough... I sure hope so.

Why our Nana is the coolest Nana:

Now, we all know the Nana (and Papa not to be forgotten) are awesome....

But here is just a little more evidence to support us...

Can you say pleased?

Thanks Nana for another AWESOME idea!
I hope someday to be as cool a Grandma as you.

Papa Roy came on a quick visit this week so he and Daddy could go fly fishing together.
I think the idea was a relaxing day of fishing...
Not sure "relaxing" was exactly the out come, but they did bring home some cool dead things for the girls to see.
*Yes, I am a proponent of my children touching dead animals and watching them have their guts removed, I'm sorry if that bothers you. It's real life. In full disclosure, I do not however have the stomach to remove the dead things guts myself, just so you know.*

They were very impressed.
I will spare you the guts (I didn't take pictures of that), Havah thought it was really interesting.

But Lilly is a little confused as to what exactly happened to the fishes heads and why they have to sleep in the freezer now...

Why did we all wake up at 3 am this morning?

I do not know.
But we are sure feeling it now.

So we're going to gang out with these guys for a while I think...

26 weeks

This is my favorite sweater in the world.
It makes my heart happy.
If I could I would wear it every day.
Even though it does not do well covering up Gideon, at all.

To welcome fall this week-
made these

And Papa Busy went fishing...

in the backyard...
(in his church clothes... tsk tsk tsk)
Didn't he catch the cutest fish you've ever seen?
Sadly, all back yard fishing is catch and release.

Probably a good idea in the end... these fish look a little off to me.

Lilly, after helping her self to the bag of white flour with a measuring cup.
She was just licking it out of the cup, I think she (yuck) liked it...

Talk about an instant makeover.
Yesterday she had a honey brown afro...

she's a very sassy red head.
(Jenna thank you for the scarves- hours of entertainment)

Papa Busy is a Genius, period.

Remember my mother's day apple tree?

It's not exactly 'bounteous', but it did grow one very pretty (very woody) apple.

To all women who think they would go nuts having their husbands work at home I say,
"Feast your eyes on this!"

Look at what my husband made.
Homemade buttermilk bread with hot homemade marionberry/rhubarb jam...
I think I've died and gone to carb heaven.

Papa Busy, please add this snack to the list of work from home perks :)
you may always always work from home, forever.

I am generally not a proponant of farting noises... or the word 'fart'.

But I think this is hilarious!

Papa Busy's Harvest

Well, a little bit of it.
We have squash, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, parsley, basil and onions...
And our one little apple is looking delicious.
We'll have to pick it sometime soon, along with the rest of the potatoes.
Whooray for Papa Busy!

(and look at what I did this week)

More about that tomorrow.
My last timer just went off, which means, I'm taking my tired self and husband to bed.

I love Arm & Hammer Baking Soda.
I use it make food, wash laundry, deodorize everything, clean up 'pee pee ask-idents', clean bathrooms from floor the ceiling (except for the mirrors).
Everyone should have Baking Soda and Washing Soda (baking soda's big brother)!
It's effective, non toxic, versatile and CHEAP.

So go buy some baking soda!
